RESTROOMS

Thanks to the generosity of Springdale Nazarene Church – Norwood and New City Presbyterian Church, we’ll have both churches open race morning to participants who need to use the restroom before or after the race.

THE COURSE

It is a measured 5K course and we will have a cyclist leading the route. Additionally, there will be colorful arrows at all the turns on the course showing participants the way. There is a water stop approximately 1.75 miles into the course.

POST-RACE BLOCK PARTY

The fun continues after you cross the finish line! You’ll definitely want to redeem that free beer ticket courtesy of Listermann Brewing Company and enjoy lots of free food. We’ll have pizza from LaRosa’s, pulled pork and chicken sandwiches from 562Que, and the Norwood Police and Fire Associations will be grilling burgers donated by Indian Mound Café. We’ll also have free coffee from Crossroads Church and water and bananas after the race courtesy of Walgreens and Kroger. Additional drinks, including ProudHound Coffee, will also be available for sale.

We have games for the whole family including face painting, cornhole, parachute play and giant versions of Jenga, checkers and Connect 4. Live entertainment will be provided from The Cable Guys Band and Worthy Yoga will lead a post-race stretch at 10 a.m. Stop by the Norwood Together tent and learn about initiatives focused on improving our community.

AWARDS & DOOR PRIZES

Thanks to our friends at Fleet Feet Sports there will be awards for age group winners for men and women as well as for our top overall winners. We’ll also have a number of door prizes for all those registered. Be sure to check the registration area at SNC Norwood after the race for the age group winners and door prizes.
